Yale University Press, June 2012
The Institute of Modern Russia is proud to recommend Roads to the Temple: Truth, Memory, Ideas, and the Ideals in the Making of the Russian Revolution, 1987-1991. Written by Leon Aron, director of Russian studies at the American Enterprise Institute and prominent Russian affairs expert, this indispensable guide to the history of ideas that accelerated the Soviet Union’s downfall was published by Yale University Press earlier in June. The New York book launch, co-sponsored by the IMR and the Harriman Institute, will take place in September 2012. More information on this event, as well as an in-depth interview with the author, will be available on the IMR website shortly.
